Five-Person Team Has Over 56 Years of Combined Experience

COLUMBUS, Ga. (August 8, 2005) — Marie Berje, director of operations for Red Lobster restaurants in the area, has announced that Erin Ferguson, Debra Tolbert, Tywana Williams, Mary Thorp and Myra Mouton have joined the management team at the company’s newest Red Lobster in Columbus.  The five-person management team has over 56 years of combined restaurant experience working with Red Lobster at its restaurants in Georgia and throughout the country.

Erin Ferguson is joining the new Columbus Red Lobster as the restaurant’s general manager.  Ferguson, who has been with the company for 15 years, previously worked as a general manager at five Red Lobster locations. 

Debra Tolbert was named the restaurant’s new culinary manager.  Tolbert, who has worked with Red Lobster for 25 years, previously was a culinary manager at the 13th Street location. 

The restaurant’s service managers are Tywana Williams and Mary Thorp.  Williams previously served as a service professional at the 13th Street Red Lobster and has been with the restaurant company for eight years.  Thorp, who has been with Red Lobster for less than a year, recently completed the company’s manager-in-training program in Auburn, Ala.

Myra Mouton is the restaurant’s beverage and hospitality manager.  Mouton, who previously worked at the Valdosta Red Lobster, has been with the company for eight years.

The new Columbus Red Lobster is located at 5555 Whittlesey Boulevard in the Columbus Park Crossing and employs 150 crewmembers.
