RED LOBSTER ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT TEAM FOR NEW RESTAURANT IN RONKONKOMA
Five-Person Team Has More Than 74 Years of Combined Experience

RONKONKOMA, N.Y. (August 8, 2005) — Greg Corbly, director of operations for Red Lobster restaurants in the area, has announced that Brian Duffy, Nick Chillianis, Fran Trentadue, Jamie Grocki and Karla Zapata have joined the management team at the company’s newest Red Lobster in Ronkonkoma.  The five-person management team has more than 74 years of combined restaurant experience working with Red Lobster at its restaurants in New York and throughout the country.

Brian Duffy is joining the new Ronkonkoma Red Lobster as the restaurant’s general manager.   A 20-year Red Lobster veteran, Duffy previously was general manager of a location in Copiague.  Recently, Duffy was honored with the company’s prestigious Diamond Club award for his management of that restaurant.  The award is given annually to Red Lobster general managers who are ranked among the top five percent of all Red Lobster restaurants in guest satisfaction and other measures. 

Nick Chillianis, who has been with Red Lobster for two years, was named the restaurant’s new culinary manager.  Chillianis recently was the culinary manager at the Stony Brook Red Lobster.

The restaurant’s new service managers are Fran Trentadue and Jamie Grocki.  Trentadue, who has been with Red Lobster for 28 years, was previously a service manager at the Copiague location.  Grocki, who just completed management training in Wayne, N.J., recently joined the company and has 16 years of experience in the restaurant industry.

Karla Zapata, the restaurant’s beverage and hospitality manager, has been with Red Lobster for eight years.  Previously, Zapata was the beverage and hospitality manager at the Valley Stream Red Lobster.

The new Ronkonkoma Red Lobster is located at 5010 Expressway Drive South (a half mile east of Hawkins Avenue).
