![]() Congratulations KelseyIf you are keeping up with The Next Food Network Star, the season came to an end last night for our friend Kelsey Nixon during the finals in Las Vegas. Kelsey did an incredible job and all of us here at Red Lobster want to congratulate her on an incredible season, and thank her for the great addition to our fresh fish menu, Macadamia Crusted Tilapia with White Chocolate Buerre Blanc. On a personal note, thank you Kelsey for the opportunity to have worked with you and best of luck in the next step of your life and career. And congratulations on your upcoming wedding to Robbie. I wish you both all the best. So with one week left on the show, who do you think is the top contestant? Aaron is making a strong run and his engaging personality is really coming through. Lisa is definitely the strongest culinarian, and when she is relaxed she is unbeatable. Adam is clearly the best entertainer, and is re-focusing his energy on food and a serious connection with the camera. I am looking forward to a great show! My prediction…Aaron feels very likeable and I enjoy watching him work. His segment with Rachel Ray was outstanding, I think he may be the Next Food Network Star, but all three finalists this year to me are phenomenal. Have fun watching, and before the show, stop by Red Lobster for a little pre-show fresh seafood! Michael LaDuke

Wow!! I just had lunch at the Red Lobster in San Bernardino, CA. I made sure to ask if Kelsey's tilapia was still on the menu. Our food server Lisa, brought me the fresh fish menu. I was pleased that she knew what I was talking about. It was delicious. The lunch size was perfect. I hope there are many who are ordering it, and that it stays on the menu as a regular selection. Congratulations Kelsey on this delicious fresh fish creation with two ingredients you would not believe would go together. Best wishes to you and your career. I am sorry you were eliminated this week.
Had this item at a Canadian Red Lobster location (yes it's in Canada!!). It's sooooo good. Make sure you get the recipe from the website so you can make it at home. No word from Red Lobster whether it will become a regular menu feature.
Calgary, Alberta, Canada Tried this dish and hope they keep it on the menu, but now I know how to make it, it really is a good extra for Red Lobster.
Thanks Kelsey for the recipe and the chef for choosing it. I LOVED this recipe. It was perfect. What I want to know is... WHY ISN'T KELSEY'S NAME ON THE MENU NEXT TO THIS DISH? It's her creation after all. She should be acknowledged for it on the menu!
Thanks to all, we may have to consider leaving this dish on for a while! Thanks to everyone for trying it out. Chef LaDuke
Kelsey's recipe is fantastic. WOW

When will Red Lobster open a restaurant here in the Coachella Valley in southern California? I moved here 6 years ago from Des Moines, Iowa and used to dine weekly at the restaurant in West Des Moines. I miss the ambiance and the food! PLEASE, open one here soon. I have had all dishes of seafood here at various 5Star restaurants. While the preparation has been complimentary, the service and the quality leave much to be desired. Am so amazed because Red Lobster seems to be the ONLY chain not here.Believe me, the places out here need your competition to improve. John mlangteach@aol.com Home Subscribe to Posts [Atom] |
