Chef - How exciting! I haven't kept up with this show, but will look for you now in re-runs. Great job!!
I am a little confused, Chef. The video of the preparation for Kelsey's recipe does not match the recipe provided on this site. Also, bacon is mentioned in the recipe, but there are no instructions for bacon in the preparation and bacon is not mentioned on the video presentation. Also, I am guessing that when you say pina colada mix in the recipe, you are referring to the coconut milk?
Hi, this is Wendy Spirduso from Red Lobster. Thanks for your feedback. We apologize for the error in the recipe. The corrected version is now posted on the web site. Thanks for watching the Chef's blog!
Wow! The dish looks great. I am an avid Food Network viewer, and I've been watching The Next Food Network Star since the beginning of the show. I also enjoy dining at Red Lobster and can't wait to try the white chocolate tilapia. In addition, I would love to attempt making the dish at home. However, I'm a little confused about the recipe. The recipe listed on the Food Network website is different from the recipe listed on the Red Lobster webite, and the video of Kelsey (hope you win, girl) does not match either of them. Help! Or clarify. I would really love to attempt this recipe myself.
After all the rave reviews and being a fan of Kelsey, I had to try it in San Diego. Red Lobster took a shortcut and only added a meager sprinkling of the crunchy macadamia to the top of a sauteed fish filet. This crunchy "topping" was the most savory part of the dish and I felt cheated because I only got a meager spoonful. I did not get the item as photographed for their menu. Why feature this item and not do it any justice? Will I go back? Not unless someone can point me to a Red Lobster that does it right.
well im a expo at red lobster and i tasted the dish, i guess its ok. but most people dont like the idea of fish and chocolate. its not a huge seller at my resturaunt.
