My daughter loves shrimp more than I do and I have been trying to find a coupon for dinner this Saturday to help celebrate her 18th birthday. Anyone have a link?
The sauces mentioned here may be good, but for a top of the line fish restaurant, Red Lobster's cocktail sauce is terrible. It tastes like vinegar. Where's the horseradish?
Red Lobster is amazinggggg!!!! BEST restraunt EVER!!!!!!! anyone who dis's it doesn't know what they are talking about!!!!
I used to really enjoy "Red Lobster" they were priced reasonably and served great food and generous portions.
Now they are over-priced, the food is only above average. While the portions VERY small, they fill you up on starches that are half grease. Apparently, they are making money, but enough is enough. I for one vote NO on over-priced grease. Nice that you screen the comments you receive and post only what you like.
Maybe you will at lease CONSIDER the truth of the other side, if you will not allow it to be repeated. OMG, a few of us Senior Citizens (4)decided to go to Red Lobster on 52/53 & Pulaski Chgo. 60632. The service was slow and the place was a ghost town at 1:00 p.m. There was about 5 or 6 tables with customers. We heard them complaining but didn't know why. O.K. we all wanted the special that was advertised on tv for $11.99. The waitress didn't know of any specials..duh. She showed us the menu. Yes we can read. The special advertised was not on the menu. She said the only shrimp was was around the price was for $12.99. BAIT AND SWITCH. O.K. management was yapping on the phone and never did come to our table when we complained. When the orders (all ordered same..$12.99 shrimp)were served the french fries were hard stringy & greasy and the shrimps were over cooked ( couldn't chew them so we tried to cut them..heck they were like rubber). We all attempted to try to eat at least one. Yuk,coating was to crunchy(burndt tasting and shrimps couldn't chew). The waitress did bring 4 biscuits in basket with glasses of water (that is what we all drink). When we complained to the waitress of the way the food was prepared she said she'd mention it to the cook. I guess she did as a woman came from the back and did agree about the shrimps..in fact she laughed. She said she wouldn't have eaten them either. We told her we were finished. While talking with this "cook" the waitress hurried and took all of our plates...with 90% of what was served still on them. The cook said instead of paying for the full meal..we all had to pay 1/2. We balked at it. We all had 1 biscuit apiece, 1 glass of water, (we all were going to take our salads home--they were never boxed or given to us).The so called cook said "don't forget to leave the waitress a tip"....hell a tip.We didn't wanna pay the $7.00 + for each one of us...but they said they would call the cops...theft of services ( no proof as they already took the plates ,etc). In order not to cause a scene we paid and got the hell outta there. We needed to let others know that Red Lobster on Pulaski in Chgo. don't have good food and don't care about the clientel. They just lost 4 senior citizens for customers ( & no they don't give Senior discounts). Be aware of their bait and switch so called advertised menu on tv. or at least let their waitress staff know what the hell their specials are.
An irate young Senior Citizen of Brighton Park area of Chgo. My husband and I ate at the Red Lobster in Killeen, TX not too long ago. The service was very slow. We ordered Caesar salad, which was offered, and when the salads were served we noticed they were made with iceberg lettuce...we asked the waitress about the lettuce and she said they didn't have any romain lettuce...she said she wasn't going to pick thru the salad bowl in the kitchen and get us romain lettuce for the Caesar salad?! The food went down hill from there...along with the service...sorry Charlie...no tip for the server...she couldn't have cared less about us as customers...maybe she learned something...we did...no more Red Lobster!
